ICEHOUSE
On October 10th, 1980, the debut album for the band, Flowers, was released. The album was titled Icehouse and reached Number 4 on the Australian Albums chart. The album was a hit with fans and critics alike. It went on to achieve over five times platinum success.
It eventually became the name of the band, due to signing an international deal and discovering that several artists outside of Australia held the name Flowers. Despite the name change, the album went on to become one of the bestselling debut albums by a band in Australia.
